Sinead Fahy

Sinead received her Master’s in Counselling and Psychotherapy in 2012 and prior to that has successfully completed the following training courses in Youth & Suicide, Sexual violence, Rape and Sexual assault and various workshops relating to inner child work, trauma and domestic and sexual abuse. Presently she is undergoing Sexual violence specialisation training in the Rape Crisis Centre.
She is currently an accredited member of the Association of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists in Ireland and adheres to the Codes of practice of the association while maintaining the highest ethical standards. She is available to work with adult clients for short term solution-focused counseling or for long-term psychotherapy. Sinead offers a non-judgemental supportive environment allowing clients to express and explore emotions. She believes in the importance of building a positive relationship with her clients and also believes in empowering them with her counseling skills to help find the answers. She creates a warm, safe and therapeutic environment where the client will be listened to and feels accepted, in return facilitating the client to develop a deeper understanding of their thoughts and emotions.
