Sinead Fahy

Sinead is a compassionate, dedicated counsellor and psychotherapist based in the Limerick area, offering both short-term, solution-focused counselling and longer-term psychotherapy.

She has worked as a therapist since completing her Master’s degree in Counselling and
Psychotherapy in 2010 and provides in-person and online sessions to suit client needs.
She brings extensive experience across a range of therapeutic approaches and creates a warm, non-judgemental space where clients feel heard, accepted and empowered to explore their emotions and gain clarity. In recent years Sinead has deepened her expertise in supporting survivors of sexual violence, rape and sexual assault, and practices with a trauma-informed approach.

Sinead is an accredited member of the Association of Professional Counsellors and
Psychotherapists in Ireland (APCP) and adheres to the association’s ethical standards and codes of practice. Over her career she has helped clients work through anxiety, low self- esteem and self-worth, stress and burnout, bereavement and loss, depression and bipolar disorder, sexual abuse and trauma, and post-traumatic stress.

She believes strongly in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship and works
